Juan Pablo Rico
holds an undergraduate degree in Economics (ITAM, Mexico) and a
graduate degree in Environmental Policy (Imperial College, London)
sponsored by the HSBC/Chevening programme. He is currently studying a
master degree on Integral Theory at JFK University. Juan Pablo has
served as Senior Economist Analyst for Apollo Prudential Mexico;
managing director of Ecogrupos Adventure Travel; founder and managing
director of Hostel Moneda, the first green hotel for independent
travellers in Mexico and strategic planning consultant for New
Ventures Mexico, a program of World Resources Institute that fosters
investment for enterprises working in sustainability issues. He is
advisor for the Institute for Transport and Development Policy and is
an Integral Mentor at COREintegral. Other interests: photography,
outdoor sports, cooking.
Carlos Mota
Founder of Human Management Systems, focusing on individual,
organizational and societal transformation. He has develop an approach
to Transcendent Evolution, a human centered process of transformation
aimed at integrating the Being, Doing and Transcending of individuals
and organizations.
The core of Carlos´ work is generative dialogue as a key driving force
for collective transformation. He is a World Café pioneer, with wide
experience in facilitating dialogue in multi-sector/multi-stakeholder
groups and co-author, along with Juanita Brown, David Issacs and
others of the book, The World Café: Shaping our Futures Through
Conversations that Matter.
Carlos works with local and global corporations, government and social
institutions, as well as communities in Mexico and abroad. His
expertise includes disciplines such as participative dialogue
processes, scenario and strategic planning, organizational learning,
and systems thinking. He has wide experience in line positions as
General Manager, Strategic Planning Manager, and Marketing Manager.
Carlos is an Allied Member and trained consultant of GBN (Global
Business Network) in Mexico, in Scenario Planning. He is a member of
the Society for Organizational Learning (SOL) Mexico and has served as
a member of the Board of Margaret Wheatley´s Berkana Institute. MBA
from Stanford University, B.S. in Business Administration from
Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico and studies of Systems Dynamics
at MIT.
Luis Desvignes
therapist, professor of integral human development and musician. With
studies centered in philosophy, psychology, Inka shamanism, yoga and
meditation, he's been looking for ways to integrate these tools in his
personal and professional life. For many years he was an ashtanga yoga
and Indian philosophy teacher and instructor.
Arturo Farias
Studied psychology at Stanford and an MBA at ITAM. After working 8
years for Grupo CIFRA (later Wal-Mart Mexico), he has worked for more
than a decade on management consulting and sustainable development. He
has worked as Director of Consulting for Carsolio Empresarial and as
Director of Corporate Programs for Outward Bound Mexico.
